Primary Responsibilities:
● Complete quarterly and yearly working capital forecasts to support strategic financial planning
● Provide detailed monthly commentary to Commercial Finance on forecast submissions, highlighting variances and trends
● Prepare and review monthly agencies aging reports and client exposure analysis; submit reviewed documentation to CMO, Controls, Treasury, and Credit teams
● Process and evaluate internal credit limit applications for Dentsu officers and clients not covered by standard credit insurance
● Submit credit applications for new or prospective clients, coordinated with agency finance operations teams and submitted with Dun & Bradstreet information
Net Position Management & Netting Process
The analyst is responsible for managing Dentsu's net position file on a bi-weekly basis, focusing on the company's largest clients. This critical function involves:
● Position Consolidation: Aggregate and reconcile payables and receivables across multiple entities and currencies to establish true net exposure per client
● Netting Calculations: Apply bilateral and multilateral netting methodologies to offset obligations and reduce overall working capital requirements
● Client Coordination: Work with agencies and finance teams to facilitate netting agreements and ensure alignment on settlement procedures
● Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate netting schedules and provide net position files to Treasury for cash forecasting and liquidity management
● Risk Mitigation: Monitor netting agreements for compliance and identify opportunities to optimize net positions and reduce counterparty risk
● Approve journals and payments in Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting system
● Manage transactions and approvals within the Coupa Bellin application
● Oversee file payroll provider system to ensure accurate payment processing
● Attend and actively participate in weekly vendor calls and bi-weekly AR calls
Knowledge and Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, ICWAI/CMA, CTP, MBA, or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 7–9 years of experience in corporate treasury, working captial management management, or related finance functions.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Strong collaborative skills with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Adaptability to organizational, system, and process changes
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
