Hybrid model: 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Senior Transfer Agency Investor on Boarding Representative to join our Transfer Agency Team. In this role, you you’ll drive AML/KYC due diligence checks on all shareholder accounts: existing accounts and/or new account openings within the department with the objective to achieve overall accuracy and high client satisfaction.  To be successful, you’ll need to display a high degree of professionalism and integrity through your work, have AML experience within the financial industry, be a capable team player and able to manage a demanding workload. As the team is responsible for handling requests related to investors’ daily activities, the ability to work in a very dynamic environment is required.

In our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and validating investor documentation against internal procedures, AML/KYC requirements, and market standards

  • Operating within agreed business SLAs while independently managing priorities and working effectively under time pressure

  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, investors, and stakeholders

  • Review publicly available sources for information pertaining to client due diligence (e.g. Stock Exchange)

  • Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis and have this evidenced

  • Performing accurate system updates and ensuring that data quality, audit trail, and control requirements are maintained

  • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives (attend to presentations from Supervisor/Manager, work sessions & personal effort-training)

  • Establish contacts with all areas and all levels at inter departmental

  • Cooperating closely with other teams across BBH offices to resolve complex cases and support end-to-end service delivery

  • Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all related tasks

  • Delivering high-quality work with attention to detail

  • Complying with all firm policies and procedures

  • Investigating queries, raising with relevant parties, and escalating when needed

  • Supporting quality checks, identifying recurring issues, and contributing to process improvements and risk reduction initiatives

What we’re looking for:

  • BA/MS degree in finance, economics, business, law, or a related field

  • and/or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Transfer Agency, AML/KYC, investor services, fund administration, or a similar financial services environment

  • Understanding of AML/KYC requirements, investor documentation standards, and operational risk controls

  • Ability to manage a broad portfolio of clients, prioritize complex workloads, and deliver within tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving issues

  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately

  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with a minimum B2+/C1 level preferred

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to support less experienced team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

  • Prior experience reviewing, validating, and interpreting complex investor documentation would be a strong advantage

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and contribute to efficiency, quality, and risk mitigation initiatives
