The team:As a Senior Trading Consultant at Murex, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional solutions and services to our clients within your area of expertise, adhering to Murex's high standards. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and success through effective communication, problem-solving, and hands-on involvement in various projects. You will be a go-to-person, inside and outside the company, for your area of expertise. What you’ll do:- Understand client business needs, communicate internally, gather feedback on potential solutions, growth the solutions, define test plan and own the execution and deliver to the client, following up until deployment.
- Act as the front office functional expert during Murex system implementation, which includes gathering business requirements, building configuration for the solution, and plan and execute testing campaign aligning with other streams and managing his own stream.
- Provide technical and functional support services to clients as a white glove service with high quality standards, finding ways to increase the quality of deliveries.
- Provide training on Murex system functionality to colleagues, partners and users.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including preparing materials and providing presentation support.
- Contribute to the internal product evolution stream, owning specifics products.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering or Financial Engineering.
- Over 5 years of experience in capital market technology or financial markets, specifically related to trading, derivatives, forex, fixed income, asset management or similar areas.
- Experience managing a team or coaching colleagues is preferred.
- Possess knowledge in banking, trading, derivatives, forex, and other financial areas, with a strong ability to learn and adapt within financial markets.
- Programing skills and interest are necessary. A fundamental knowledge of UNIX, JavaScript and SQL would be highly beneficial.
- Outstanding problem-solving and consultative skills to understand client business challenges and explore their root causes.
- Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present technical and functional information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work with autonomy and possess agility to deal with ambiguity.
