Overview

The Senior Trade Marketing Associate is a key contributor within the Customer Marketing team in Romania. This role is responsible for developing and executing commercial and trade marketing activities aligned with regional and country category strategies, working closely with Sales to drive net sales, market share, and distribution performance.

In this role, you will translate strategy into action by implementing consumer and trade promotion plans, monitoring market performance, and ensuring excellence in execution across channels.

About the Team / Department

You will join the Customer Marketing team and report to the Associate Manager, Customer Marketing (Romania). The team works closely with Sales, regional stakeholders, and external partners to ensure strong commercial execution and consistent brand presence in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and contribute to net sales, market share, and weighted distribution results for assigned categories
  • Monitor sell‑out and market data, including market share, distribution, promotion performance, and competitor activity
  • Track category performance locally and provide insights and recommendations to support business objectives
  • Plan and execute consumer and trade promotion initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure timely and high‑quality execution of distribution, display, and in‑store initiatives
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and regional/local partners
  • Lead development of artwork, labels, POS materials, and promotional packs
  • Prepare and deliver trade presentations using regional and local materials

Experience You’ll Bring:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing within a multinational FMCG environment
  • Fluent English, including presentation skills
  • Experience working with market data and insights tools (e.g., Nielsen or similar) is an advantage
