About the position

The Senior Test Automation Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for critical product features. This role involves leading automation efforts, troubleshooting test failures, and optimizing test coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical product features.
  • Lead automation efforts for specific projects, ensuring efficient and effective test coverage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the development process.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of automated tests and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes and tools.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers in best practices and tools.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong experience in test automation or software development with a focus on testing.  
  • Strategic thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, high-level proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, experience with scripting languages, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead complex projects, drive strategic initiatives, and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and optimize automation processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry trends, company strategy, and cross-functional processes.
  • Understanding of scripting languages, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.  #LI-NA1

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
