You will excel at simplifying complex information, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the content lifecycle.
  • Lead projects end-to-end: Take full ownership of content projects from inception to completion, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. You will drive forward documentation efforts independently, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
  • Become a subject matter expert: Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, ensuring that you can audit, update, and create documentation that is accurate and aligned with current product features.
  • Innovate and improve documentation processes: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement new processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Continuously seek feedback and iterate on improvements.
  • Tailor content across different mediums: Adapt writing style to suit various formats, such as best practice guides, how-to articles, bug fixes, and known limitation articles. You will know how to adjust tone and voice depending on the medium and audience.

Who you are:

  • Language expert: You have a passion for the English language and a keen eye for detail, understanding the nuances of grammar and punctuation (like the Oxford comma and difference between an en dash and em dash).
  • Highly organized: You are self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects efficiently, whether working independently or as part of a collaborative (often remote) team.
  • Creative and process-driven: You approach technical writing with creativity, innovating within your role to improve documentation processes and systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the writing process: You excel in all aspects of technical writing—from discovery and research to drafting, editing, auditing, and publishing.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with proven experience managing projects from start to finish.
  • Technical proficiency, with knowledge of software development and familiarity with platforms such as Azure.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English, U.S. spelling preferred (Italian and other languages are an advantage).
  • Ability to advocate for and negotiate improvements in both the product and documentation to further the knowledge management mission.
  • Impeccable organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of building relationships and aligning teams across multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of UCD principles and how to apply them effectively to technical documentation.
  • Experience working with publishing platforms and tools like Document360, Figma, and Miro.
  • Familiarity with GenAI and SEO best practices will be considered a plus.
