Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate technical and non-technical training programs and courseware designed to ensure that personnel are trained and qualified to perform their assigned duties in a compliant, effective and efficient manner.

  • Maintain and/or review training curricula and routinely assess learning plans to ensure all training remains current with technical demands and regulatory expectations.

  • Effectively work with functional department management and/or subject matter experts to design, develop and implement compliant courseware and evaluation tools in support of training objectives.

  • Design, develop, and deliver all relevant compliance training in a timely and efficient manner, and maintain all associated training metrics for the site.

  • Ensure knowledge transfer and/or technical competence through use of appropriate evaluation, effectiveness checks and/or qualification standards.

  • Ensure all training documentation is accurate, complete and available for review by direct supervisors, management, external contract providers or regulatory agencies.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or training education field.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

  • Must possess knowledge of domestic and international good manufacturing and good distribution practices regulations, adult learning theory, instructional design, and effective training methodologies.

  • Must possess knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP, Distribution Center operations, and the business processes associated with external business partners and departments.

  • Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, facilitating, consensus building, time-management, and organizational skills.

  • Must be accurate, detail-oriented, approachable, patient, and supportive.

  • Must have the ability to analyze a situation, to interpret applicable regulations, and to recommend the best course of action for a given issue.

  • Must possess effective written skills and excellent oral presentation skills.

  • Must be able to effectively teach and evaluate knowledge transfer to all levels of employees.

  • Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).  Knowledge of SAP/ERP operating system is preferred.  

  • Must have the ability to learn new software applications used for the development, tracking or delivering of computer based training (e.g., Articulate).

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
