Under the supervision of the Digital Productivity Lead, the following are expected from this role:
- Involvement in Project Scoping, identifies technical limitations of SharePoint and providing workaround/alternative solutions.
- Assess Project Timelines and ensure that tasks are delivered within reasonable amount of time.
- Assess if user request requires approval and escalating the request to the appropriate person.
- Review the SharePoint platform health by checking logs and back-end configuration and correcting, as necessary.
- Development, testing and releasing of SharePoint applications and making sure that the applications are working as per specification and best practices are applied.
- Provides support for custom applications that is built under SharePoint
- Assisting with 3rd level support for any SharePoint related queries
- Assists on the migration of site collections, sites, and files to the latest version of SharePoint and making sure that migrated items are working properly on the new SharePoint environment.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor's/College Degree in a related field.
- 5 years and above hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint online.
- Customizations, workflow development and troubleshooting using SharePoint Designer 2010/2013.
- Advance SharePoint online forms development and troubleshooting of InfoPath 2013 forms.
- Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint Databases.
- Understanding of networking technologies and how it is related for SharePoint to function.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and how it works with SharePoint.
- Advance understanding and configuration in SharePoint Central Administration site/SharePoint Online admin Center
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell/SharePoint Management Shell
- Advance knowledge of HTML/CSS, target audience, and other languages
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks within a multi-tasking environment and at the same time, maintaining high quality of work.
- Ability to work under pressure and efficient management of tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take on new work and adapt quickly.
- Strong analysis/design skills
- Advance troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think out of the box (no specific user guide) to resolve issues and deliver projects based on requirements.
- In depth understanding of the on-premises SharePoint and SharePoint online platform in terms of functionality, security model and technical limitations.
