The ExtraHop team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our recruiting team and help us hire top-tier talent as we continue to grow ExtraHop! You will report directly to our Director of HR and work closely with our stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process. Key Responsibilities
- As gatekeeper to the company, uphold ExtraHop’s culture and talent standards by thoroughly understanding the company values and mantras. Use this knowledge to identify and select top candidates who align with those standards.
- Demonstrate expertise and enthusiasm in recruitment to attract and retain talent.
- Utilize advanced methods for sourcing top-tier candidates, including proactive networking, market research, and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market conditions, sharing knowledge and insights with hiring managers and the team.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop growth-focused recruitment strategies.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possesses a strong ability to screen, interview, and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Must understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies that seek matching fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in Greenhouse, utilizing data to improve and optimize recruitment processes.
- Oversee the Campus Recruiting program, including travel to all campus events (5-10%)
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (combination of in-house and agency).
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, focusing on technical roles such as software engineers, data scientists, IT specialists, etc.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies (e.g., software development, DevOps, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Seattle area-based with the ability to go into our headquarters at least once per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Boolean search methods.
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and industry tools (e.g., AWS, Git, Kubernetes) to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
- Prior experience managing university partnerships and intern programs.
- Greenhouse ATS experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Strategic and innovative thinking in talent acquisition.
- Proficiency in sourcing plans and tools.
- Strong technical understanding of recruiting for programming languages and technical industry tools.
- Ability to assess technical qualifications for software development, AI, and cloud computing roles.
The base salary for this position is between $105,000-120,000 + bonus
