Senior Technical Project Manager
What does a successful Senior Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?
As a key member of the Latin America Project Management Office, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions to merchant acquiring clients, through project management. Performance is measured by securing consulting engagements, delivering solutions within budgeted hours, maintaining high utilization rates, achieving client satisfaction, and meeting team goals. You’ll collaborate with business and product stakeholders under light supervision from management within the LATAM IT PMO team.
What you will do:
- Take full ownership of projects, leading project meetings, creating work plans, schedules, estimates while providing analysis and regular status reports as the main point of contact to external clients in the merchant acquiring sector
- Plan, establish, and maintain multiple projects, while identifying and resolving problems, tracking progress, monitoring project performance, managing vendor tasks and deliverables, and providing technical guidance to the project team
- Participate in cross-functional projects, including authoring scope and solution documents, building relationships with stakeholders, championing innovation and product development, and engaging all applicable functional areas and business units
- Focus on the customer (at all levels of the organization), leverage Fiserv’s project management methodology as appropriate, champion a disciplined culture, and understand the importance of culture change management
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role, including leading and managing teams, setting goals, and overseeing the successful execution of projects in the merchant acquiring sector
- 6+ years of experience overseeing the successful execution of projects, developing project management standards, and leading teams to a successful delivery
- 6+ years of experience in the merchant acquiring and Payment Acceptance industry, including an understanding of Card Schemes processing
- 6+ years of experience communicating with project teams, stakeholders, and managing expectations of senior management
- 6+ years of experience using Excel to assess project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- 6+ years of experience managing numerous concurrent projects in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
- Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese
What would be great to have:
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP)
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification (CSM)
