Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical and functional product knowledge across the product portfolio, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and product stakeholders
- Product requirement definition and analysis. Serve as liaison to translate business requirements to technical solutions
- Understand and support best practices as it relates to data management across products
- Fosters teamwork and innovation. Shares product knowledge and provides technical guidance in support of other teams related to products in the environment
- Understands product lifecycle methodology. Supports product lifecycle and product roadmap/strategy for multiple products
- Support new product implementations, product upgrades, and product transitions (clinical, revenue cycle, and/or administrative products)
- Develops and maintains product support models and ensures product documentation exists and is maintained utilizing standard tool sets
- Ensures clear communication of system capabilities, limitations, and potential impacts on business operations
- Identifies product risks and deficiencies and works to mitigate with vendors and stakeholders
- Perform product audits, risk assessments and remediation. Broad understanding of security vulnerabilities and policies to ensure compliance
- Assists with analyzing and evaluating 3rd party vendor products (clinical, revenue cycle, and/or administrative) and technology solutions in the environment in support of standards and rationalization
- Ability to manage vendor relationships, service delivery, and monitor defined support metrics
- Serve as an escalation contact related to product support issues and assists with execution of product support models
- Application of ITSM/ITIL standards to deliver consistent practices to achieve service excellence
- Maintains Application Portfolio artifacts
- Serve as Technical Product Owner
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience successfully implementing, supporting, configuring 3rd party vendor technology solutions in a Healthcare setting. Includes experience defining project scope, specifying tasks and meeting deliverables according to established targets
- 8+ years of experience managing vendor products and roadmap planning as well as managing vendor relationships and services
- 8+ years of experience as an IT product subject matter expert
- 5+ years of experience evaluating product solutions, defining and analyzing system requirements, building product diagrams, data flows, and integration requirements.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific ASC and Practice Services environment. Ensure products comply with regulations, standards, and internal policies. Ensure that products meet or exceed security requirements to protect organization data/users
- Proven exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Proven collaborative style with ability to engage stakeholders, vendors IT teams and business owners building alignment
- Proven solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, collaborating on business/operational requirements
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving
- Proven driven to understand and learn innovative technologies
- Proven proactive mindset and demonstrates flexibility to adjust to changing priorities within the environment
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in Healthcare IT and implementing and/or supporting technology solutions
