Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
The Senior IT Program Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects, primarily within the retail wireless or telecommunications domains. This position requires a strong command of agile and hybrid agile methodologies, ensuring iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with strategic business objectives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in bridging technical teams with business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, and managing project lifecycles from inception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex IT software delivery projects, ensuring on-time completion and achievement of project goals.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver programs and projects aligned with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and communication strategies to drive project success.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), communicating updates and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources across IT and business teams, monitor project progress, report status, and adjust plans as needed to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, translate business needs into technical requirements, and drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with IT platforms and integrations (e.g., BSS, OSS, Network)
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a significant focus on software delivery projects
  • Proven expertise in leading projects using agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in the retail wireless or telecommunications industry
  • Experience in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management within a project context

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Project Management or Software Delivery certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, ACP, CSM, CSPO).
  • Familiarity with enterprise software release processes and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, business partners, and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management and software delivery tools, including Jira, Confluence, and GSuite.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach with the ability to navigate complex IT and business environments and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated leadership in diverse teams with formal knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
