We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Program Manager to drive high-impact storage initiatives across development, operations, and cloud deployment. This critical role involves communicating with engineering, product, operations, finance, and global cloud partners. In this pivotal role, you will be the center of our operations, leading multiple parallel work streams, coordinating complex software release cycles, and driving our open-source strategy. You will act as the connecting tissue between Engineering, Product Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of our storage solutions.

What you'll be doing:
  • Execution & Tracking: Build and maintain detailed program schedules, track achievements, and handle dependencies across various engineering teams.

  • Resource Planning: Collaborate with engineering managers to ensure allocation and prioritization align with program priorities and timelines.

  • QA Coordination: Work closely with QA and Engineering to define release criteria, track bug burn-down rates, and ensure all "Must-Fix" issues are resolved prior to GA.

  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all releases meet internal security standards, compliance requirements, and pass all vital CI/CD gates.

  • Open source: Own and run the open source program end to end: define release roadmap, set contribution and review processes, lead community engagement, and coordinate with legal on licensing and governance

  • Partner Interfacing: Collaborate with Solution Architects and Support teams to handle customer-specific requirements and critical issues as they relate to the product roadmap.

What we need to see:
  • 9+ years of experience in program management of large-scale software development programs

  • B.sc or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer science, or equivalent experience

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, responsive, and passionate about finding opportunities for process improvement!

  • Shown success driving programs across global, distributed teams.

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills, capable of aligning cross-org partners.

  • Strong foundation in software development, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.

  • Knowledge of Distributed Storage Systems: SAN, NAS, object storage, and scalable distributed architectures such as Ceph or Lustre.

  • Storage Performance: Understanding IOPS, latency, throughput optimization, and capacity planning for large-scale environments

  • Data Protection & DR: Familiarity with snapshots, backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies

  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI storage services (Block, Object, File)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Expertise with tools like Jira and Confluence, and the ability to guide teams in their use

  • AI/ML & HPC Workloads: Understanding storage requirements for high-throughput AI training or data pipelines

  • Experience with new product introduction and program managing research teams.

We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working with us and our engineering teams are growing fast in some of the most impactful fields of our generation: Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Autonomous Vehicles.
