Microsoft Devices Operations (MDO), part of Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own an AI-powered intelligence product from business problem to measurable customer outcome. You will shape the product definition with the business, prototype and work directly in the data, drive engineering delivery, and take real capability to customers.
This is the future AI product management profile: a single owner accountable for definition, delivery, go-to-market, adoption, and business impact of one product. You will work directly with business stakeholders, customers, data, engineering, architects, and TPMs to turn an operational need into a deployed AI capability.

Responsibilities
- Own a single intelligence product from business problem through customer outcome. You own the customer and the business outcome for that product: definition, requirements, prioritization, technical prototyping, delivery, go-to-market, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Define the product vision, scenarios, roadmap, and business requirements for product.
- Own prioritization and make scope and trade-off decisions.
- Prototype solutions and work directly with the underlying data.
- Translate business needs into technically viable AI product capabilities.
- Drive engineering delivery through architects, feature teams, and TPMs.
- Own go-to-market, customer readiness, adoption, and the resulting business outcome.
- Identify portions of the product or workflow that can be automated with AI.
- Take real capabilities to customers, learn from usage, and iterate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
- OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years experience.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience owning a product or capability end to end: definition, requirements, delivery, and go-to-market.
- Hands-on data fluency: ability to work directly with product and operational data to inform decisions and prototype solutions.
- Experience building or shipping AI/ML-powered product capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technically viable product requirements.
- Experience driving engineering delivery through architects, feature teams, and TPMs.
- Track record of customer engagement, go-to-market execution, and measurable adoption or business impact.
- Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, devices, or operational decision systems.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
