Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the strategy and execution behind our first-of-kind battery development and manufacturing programs. In this role, you will unite cross-functional teams and drive the plan that carries our product from development through prototype to full commercial manufacturing. You'll bring structure to complexity, turning ambiguous, fast-moving priorities into clear roadmaps that keep the organization aligned and moving forward. This is a pivotal opportunity to help shape how Form Energy scales breakthrough technology into a product that strengthens grid reliability for the long term.

Relocation assistance is available.

What you'll do:
  • Architect a cross-functional, cohesive program plan grounded in deep understanding of strategy, dependencies, teams, risks, and sequencing, owning the schedule end to end

  • Translate top-down corporate strategy and milestones into detailed roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with team leads

  • Drive execution alongside Product Design and Manufacturing teams to stand up commercial manufacturing capabilities

  • Surface clarity on plans, risks, gaps, and tradeoffs, and frame decision-quality paths forward for stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional reviews to escalate issues, mitigate risk, and keep programs on track

  • Facilitate alignment and communication across the Manufacturing organization and with partner teams throughout Form Energy

  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain and Procurement to align material need-by dates, surface availability risks early, and keep build schedules grounded in real material readiness

  • Shape program management principles for manufacturing engineering and connect them to Form's broader product development process

What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or engineering program management

  • Demonstrated success managing manufacturing and engineering programs, with a BS or MS in a related field

  • Strong grasp of high-volume manufacturing processes, pilot-scale development, and R&D-to-production transitions

  • Experience coordinating cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams — comfortable driving alignment on design readiness, need-by dates and material readiness even when the underlying tracking process is still being built out

  • Excellent planning, collaboration, and facilitation skills, with a track record of driving ambiguous, complex cross-functional projects to completion

  • Comfort presenting program status, recommendations, and priorities to executive leadership

  • A blend of business acumen and technical depth, with the intellectual curiosity to zoom out for big-picture vision and zoom in on specific challenges

  • Pragmatic problem-solving instincts and a steady hand for thriving amid a rapidly changing, growing organization

Where you'll work:

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
