Design and validate industrial control panels for high-voltage battery systems. Create schematics, layouts, BOMs in EPLAN, select components rated to 600VAC/2000VDC, manage vendors, execute high-voltage testing, ensure NEC/UL 508A compliance, and support DFMEA and cross-functional integration.

Manage day-to-day logistics execution across air, ocean, and ground; build and maintain BI dashboards and datasets; analyze carrier performance and exceptions; manage freight invoice reconciliation; handle customs classifications and import/export processing; partner cross-functionally to align logistics with production and cost objectives.

Lead 24/7 final assembly operations (cell, module, pack, DCDC), owning safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Lead process improvements to ramp high-volume iron-air battery production: optimize yields, throughput, quality; drive root-cause analysis, KPI development, PLM/MES/ERP adoption, factory layout and capacity planning, and ensure EHS compliance.

Lead end-to-end product delivery and validation for multi-day battery technology. Manage and integrate systems, electrical, firmware, and software workstreams, enforce PDP, mitigate risks, drive technical decisions, and mentor program managers and engineers to ensure successful launch and commercialization.

Lead sourcing strategy for system-level electrical and mechanical components for iron-air battery systems. Own supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and pricing, run cost-model analyses, monitor market and technology risks, and collaborate with leadership, engineering, and supply teams to enable manufacturing scale-up.

Design, implement, and validate dynamical battery models and BMS control and state-estimation algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink. Lead system identification experiments, define BMS performance and hardware interfaces, enable Simulink-based code generation for embedded deployment, and integrate controls into a system-level digital twin. Support limited travel for prototype bring-up and testing.

Lead and grow a West Coast recruiting team focused on hardware talent. Partner with engineering leaders and People Ops to set hiring strategy, design sourcing for niche hardware roles, own recruiting metrics, standardize practices across sites, and strengthen employer branding to attract top engineering talent.

Design, build, and deploy lab test equipment and test stands for iron-air battery cells, modules, and supporting electronics. Develop mechanical and fluid handling systems, perform engineering analysis (FEA, heat transfer, fluid mechanics), collaborate with electrical and operations teams to diagnose and keep tests online, create documentation and change management, train technicians, and ensure safety.

Lead day-to-day production line operations, manage direct and contract labor, meet production/quality/safety targets, drive continuous improvement using lean methods, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to scale from trials to high-volume manufacturing.

Lead multi-site IT infrastructure and end-user services including identity, endpoints, networking, cloud tenancy, service desk, procurement, and ITGCs. Build metrics-driven, audit-ready operations, manage vendors and budgets, mature incident/change/backup processes, and coach distributed engineering and service teams supporting R&D, labs, and manufacturing.

Lead implementation of dimensional management and GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5-2018), own tolerance analysis workflows, ensure manufacturability and serviceability, drive standards adoption across design, quality, manufacturing and supply chain, mentor engineers, and maintain engineering standard operating procedures for high-volume production.

Lead development, deployment, and qualification of manufacturing workstations and equipment from benchtop prototypes to high-volume automated systems. Provide DFM feedback, select and partner with equipment integrators, install and commission equipment, create robust processes and documentation, resolve production issues, and train operations teams to enable safe, high-quality, high-uptime battery manufacturing.

Partner with Engineering and R&D leadership to develop and manage expense and capital budgets, analyze spending versus plan, drive forecasting and reporting routines, support internal controls and accruals, and build dashboards and process improvements to inform decision-making for the engineering/R&D organization.

Lead and build the company's corporate compliance program covering securities law, SEC reporting, SOX, insider trading, government contracts, environmental and safety regulations, and governance. Advise business teams, develop policies and training, manage outside counsel and auditors, support ESG and SOX efforts, and monitor regulatory developments to ensure compliance across manufacturing and commercial operations.
