Ensure safety, data integrity, and cross-functional alignment while supporting deployment, maintenance, and training of test systems.

Lead and grow a manufacturing test engineering team to design, deploy, and validate automated test equipment, software, and data systems. Travel to project sites may reach 30%.

Own the technical definition, architecture, integration, and performance trade-offs of 100-hour iron-air energy storage systems. Define and decompose requirements, conduct system modeling and hazard/FMEA analyses, develop logical and physical architectures using MBSE, assess technical maturity, and lead requirements changes. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, electrochemical, power electronics, controls, software, and validation teams to establish testing, verification, and system integration strategies for safe, reliable commercial-scale grid deployment.

Lead development of electrochemical sensor strategies and cell state estimation for iron-air batteries. Build prototype testing capabilities, perform RCAs on field phenomena, optimize sensor cost and performance, and translate findings into product development roadmaps to support scale-up and lifetime performance.

Lead end-to-end product delivery and validation for a multi-day battery, coordinating systems architecture, electrical, firmware, and software workstreams. Define and enforce PDP, mitigate program risks, drive technical decisions with executives, and mentor program managers to ensure successful launch and commercialization.

Lead end-to-end development and validation of electrical and mechanical systems for multi-day batteries. Integrate cross-functional workstreams across systems architecture, firmware, software, manufacturing, and quality. Create and communicate schedules, drive cost-down and quality improvements, manage BOM and release/change processes, lead design reviews, prototype to mass production, and close Jira issues to meet program milestones.

Design and implement memory-safe secure middleware and OTA update systems for edge controllers (C/C++/Rust). Architect DTN-based asynchronous protocols, build cryptographic disruption handling, and apply formal verification, static analysis, and adversarial threat modeling to ensure long-lived, zero-trust resilience against nation-state adversaries.

Lead site electrical engineering for a high-volume battery manufacturing facility: develop electrical designs and permit packages, manage consultants and trade partners, drive bidding and construction execution, ensure code-compliance and cost-effective designs, coordinate across disciplines, and oversee field construction and commissioning on-site.

Lead deployment of utility-scale energy storage projects by managing budget, schedule, scope, and external EPC/customer relationships. Lead SSHP/ERP development, audits, training (electrical/chemical), hazardous waste compliance, PPE strategy, incident investigations, and coordinate with field teams, AHJs, and customers throughout planning, construction, energization, and commissioning.

Manage corporate treasury and enterprise risk programs: payment processing via Oracle ERP, liquidity and cash forecasting, bank administration, debt covenant tracking and reporting, interest management, and oversight of company-wide insurance programs, renewals, and claims administration.
