Lead reliability engineering for iron-air battery packs and deployed systems. Define reliability requirements, develop validation roadmaps, design accelerated lifetime tests, investigate failure mechanisms, determine root causes, and improve component and subsystem lifetimes. Serve as the Design for Reliability authority for electro-mechanical plant subsystems, lead DFMEAs, mentor peers, collaborate cross-functionally, and champion safety.

Leads end-to-end delivery and validation of Form Energy’s battery technology, coordinating systems architecture, electrical engineering, firmware, and software workstreams. Owns product development processes, manages risks and dependencies, facilitates technical and executive decisions, and drives commercialization. Mentors program managers and engineers while influencing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful product launches.

Lead reliability engineering for battery pack and plant subsystems, focusing on electronics and electromechanical systems. Provide technical leadership, mentor peers, collaborate cross-functionally, and champion safety.

Leads supplier quality activities for high-volume iron-air battery manufacturing, including PPAP, supplier audits, quality standards, acceptance testing, root-cause analysis, performance monitoring, and supplier development. Partners with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure conforming components and drive zero-defect performance. Requires extensive quality or manufacturing experience, engineering education, and knowledge of SPC, Cpk, Gage R&R, process qualification, and industry quality standards.

Leads Form Energy’s employer branding and talent marketing strategy through integrated campaigns, paid recruitment advertising, employee storytelling, digital content, recruiting events, partnerships, and social media initiatives. Partners with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Communications, engineering, manufacturing, and hiring leaders to support workforce growth and hard-to-fill roles. Measures campaign performance and optimizes engagement and return on investment. This hybrid role requires onsite work three days weekly and travel of approximately 20%.

Own the onsite employee experience at a manufacturing facility by planning engagement events, supporting culture programs, managing swag and vendors, facilitating onboarding, preparing first-day access and equipment, answering employee questions, and maintaining HRIS data. The role is fully onsite and requires close collaboration with People, IT, Facilities, and manufacturing teams across multiple shifts.

Leads the global supply chain planning and controls organization, owning demand planning, supply and material planning, production control, and S&OP. Translates demand into build, headcount, and deployment plans while coordinating suppliers, inventory, MRP/ERP parameters, and material flow. Builds planning systems and teams for both new product introduction and high-volume battery manufacturing, providing capacity analysis, scenario planning, and executive guidance on production ramps and constraints.

Owns cost engineering for battery manufacturing, including should-cost models, activity-based costing, benchmarking, supplier cost negotiations, and design-to-cost decisions. The role partners with engineering, sourcing, finance, and executive leadership to guide sourcing and product decisions, establish cost methodologies, improve cost visibility, and build a cost engineering team and function from the ground up.

Leads development and scale-up of Gas Diffusion Electrode manufacturing processes from bench concepts through pilot-line qualification. Designs experiments, optimizes process parameters, translates material formulations into scalable processes, investigates quality and process issues, defines specifications and control plans, supports manufacturing handoff, mentors technical staff, and champions safety.

Own and evolve Form Energy’s Microsoft ecosystem, including Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID entitlement management, SharePoint governance, BYOD policies, and M365/Azure automation. Develop Graph API and Power Automate solutions, document operational processes, support identity and device escalations, evaluate new Microsoft capabilities, and collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams. The hybrid role requires onsite work in Somerville, Massachusetts, at least three days weekly.

Develops and deploys automated electronic manufacturing test systems for PCBA and system-level products. Leads FCT and EOL test development, defines coverage and validation strategies, integrates test equipment and vendor fixtures, and performs FAT/SAT. Collaborates with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams during NPI and production ramp. Supports failure analysis, root-cause investigations, DFT improvements, MES/database integration, and continuous improvements to test automation, diagnostics, uptime, and manufacturing efficiency.

Leads the software and firmware engineering organization for Form Energy’s energy storage products. Oversees embedded systems, product applications, manufacturing software, fleet operations, deployment, OTA delivery, commissioning, service tools, reliability, and lifecycle support. Establishes architecture, requirements, governance, staffing, and execution strategies while developing engineering leaders and partnering across hardware, manufacturing, product, regulatory, quality, and field operations.

Conducts integrated systems testing for multi-pack battery assets, including test execution, procedure development, data collection, telemetry validation, troubleshooting, and reporting. The role validates battery management systems, power electronics, auxiliary systems, wiring, sensors, actuators, and software-hardware integration. Responsibilities also include safety interlocks, lockout/tagout compliance, laboratory 5S, and coordination with facilities, operations, and technicians.
