The opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager with significant understanding of the agile project management & collaborative work management space. In this role, you will help drive adoption of our solutions for project management for both technical and business teams by aiding the creation of compelling technical content that resonates with IT, Engineering, and Business leaders. You are someone who excels as an individual contributor but you are also skilled at working within cross-functional projects that span field marketing, product management, product marketing, and growth teams to further Atlassian's position in the collaborative work management & agile project management spaces.
More about you:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in product marketing, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or product management
  • You are skilled at communication and adept at presenting and demoing the value of products and solutions to IT buyers and influencers, as well as internal stakeholders
  • You have experience defining and delivering technical product marketing deliverables such as: product and solution demos, videos, presentations, blogs, webinars, competitive analyses, white papers, and enablement material
  • You can develop content including videos/demos, white papers, messaging, and enablement
  • You can drive storytelling around cross-functional collaboration, project management, teamwork and knowledge management
  • You have the ability to switch context from technical conversations with customers to creating compelling technical marketing content that keeps the full business picture in mind
  • You are excited to build trusted relationships with analysts and other influencers through product and solution briefings, demos, and evaluations, as well as through online communities and social media
  • You have experience working with product management and sales teams to shape the product strategy, and partner with other product marketing and solution engineers to build great technical content
  • You can work cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product, Design, and Marketing to prioritize content needs and push new content out across channels
  • You can provide support around these topics for analyst reports, GTM motions and campaigns, and Atlassian events
  • You can provide input to the broader Product Marketing team regarding asset and configuration management topics


Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence or similar software strongly preferred
  • Strong writing and content creation skills including short and long-form
  • Previous experience with asset management, discovery, configuration, and related topics is a plus
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Experience with Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, Apple Final Cut Pro, or similar screen capture and video editing/production tools a plus
  • Familiarity with Atlassian solutions is a huge plus; ability to quickly learn new technologies is required
  • Able to travel to Atlassian's international offices as needed


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
