Zero Networks, an innovative network security solutions provider, is at an exciting time in its history and is growing fast! We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Senior Technical Product Manager to join our product team.
ResponsibilitiesDescription
- Define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing business priorities with technical constraints.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA to ensure successful product delivery.
- Partner with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs across platforms and operating systems and prioritize based on customer and business impact
- Translate complex technical and customer requirements into clear product specifications.
- Own performance and resource-footprint requirements for the agent across diverse system environments
- Act as the technical point of contact across engineering, customer engineering, sales, and customers on endpoint-related topics
- Define product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and technical opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as product managers in the cybersecurity industry.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field – an advantage
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of network security concepts and technologies with strong emphasis on OS and Networking knowledge
- Working knowledge of native OS firewall/filtering architectures across at least two of the following: Windows (WFP/Windows Firewall), Linux (iptables/nftables/netfilter), macOS (PF/Network Extension framework); experience with AIX or other legacy Unix filtering (IPFilter/IPsec) a strong plus
- Experience defining requirements for agent-based/endpoint software, including deployment, update/rollback mechanics
- Solid grounding in networking fundamentals (L3/L4, stateful vs. stateless filtering, NAT) and how they apply to policy enforcement
- Comfortable reading API and other forms of technical documentation and collaborating with engineering on integration points
- English – excellent writing skills – a must
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Technical background as a Developer – an advantage
- Experience in IT systems/ network - big advantage
Skills Required
