About Us

Applecart is the leading technology company that C-suites rely on to reach business-critical decision makers. The most important decisions are made by the hardest people to reach and influence. Historically, C-suite leaders have lacked the tools to reach the stakeholders who matter most to their business. The C-suites of hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, major agencies, trade associations, nonprofits, and governments use Applecart to put their best content in front of business-critical decision makers and those they trust —  from policymakers and investors to CEOs, key employees, members of the media and more. Decision makers are informed by what they read, learn from advisors, hear from colleagues, and discuss with family and friends. To break through to them, you must reach them through the only channel that really moves them: those they know and trust. Applecart’s platform uses publicly available data to map billions of social relationships between nearly every American adult and enable clients to deliver content directly to decision makers and those who matter most to them.

We are hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager, Data Infrastructure in our New York office.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for defining and driving the product architecture, roadmap, and prioritization for data lakehouse architecture in alignment with Applecart’s business and data practices. Additionally, be the champion for best practices in release engineering, observability, and data governance.  In this position, you will work with the data infrastructure, research, and measurement teams. This role will report to the Director of Product Management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and lead the product vision for core areas of Applecart’s internal data platform, including capabilities such as metadata management, data classification, observability, and identity resolution.
  • Own the product roadmap and prioritization process in close collaboration with engineering, analytics, data scientist and legal teams.
  • Translate data consumption/ creation, internal use cases, and stakeholder feedback into clear, structured product requirements.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to deliver scalable, reliable data pipelines and platform services using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and dbt.
  • Guide adoption of data infrastructure and tooling across teams by ensuring it meets the needs of data producers and consumers alike.
  • Define and track success metrics that demonstrate impact on data availability, trust, usability, or activation.
  • Communicate product priorities, trade offs, and timelines clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years focused on data platforms, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Experience owning platform, infrastructure, or customer data products in a data-rich environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL—enough to engage meaningfully with technical stakeholders and dive into data use cases.
  • Familiarity with data observability platforms or privacy and compliance frameworks.
  • Background implementing or scaling internal data catalogs, customer data platforms, or data activation pipelines.
  • Strong technical background with working knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and cloud-native data architectures.
  • Proficiency in Agile development practices and tools—roadmapping, story writing, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Familiarity with Git-based code management and SDLC workflows.
  • Experience driving adoption of observability and monitoring practices across infrastructure products.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, including data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience as a software or data engineer is a plus.
  • Experience with AI/ML workflows is a plus.

This is a hybrid role. Work from home on Monday and Friday and in Applecart’s New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation:
