We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our team, focusing on automated rule management within the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and Pharmacy Care Services industries. This pivotal role involves translating complex business requirements into actionable features and user stories for IT development implementation, particularly for cutting-edge rule management and workflow automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will leverage solid product management and agile delivery skills, with a passion for harnessing the power of rule management and workflow automation technologies. You will serve as a key liaison between business and technology, driving product vision, roadmap, and delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment, directly impacting PBM and Pharmacy operations and client satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Translation & Product Ownership:
    • Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate contract-related business requirements into detailed features and user stories for IT development
    • Partner with business product owner to define, own, and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for rule management and workflow automation tools, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
    • Partner with business product owner to manage the product backlog and lead refinement, grooming, and prioritization activities at both feature and user story levels
    • Ensure product releases meet expected outcomes and drive system demos for stakeholders and customers
  • Solution Implementation & Support:
    • Provide product leadership for the implementation of rule management and workflow automation solutions for pharmacy benefit and pharmacy care services operational processes
    • Support client onboarding and solution integration into complex business workflows, ensuring seamless operation and value delivery
  • Agile & Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Apply TPM and Agile best practices to manage the entire product lifecycle, from greenfield product development, MVP, and product launch, through development sprints and ongoing enhancements
    • Interface closely with architecture and engineering teams to assess capabilities, evaluate alternatives, and own the definition and prioritization of product releases
    • Drive continuous improvement in product management practices and disciplines
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain solid, trusted advisor relationships with internal business units, IT teams, and external vendors
    • Collaborate actively with stakeholders across business and technology functions to ensure alignment on product vision and secure feature acceptance
    • Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, demonstrating excellent relationship management, communication, and active listening skills
  • Data-Driven Decision Making & Best Practices:
    • Evaluate product requirements and specifications, ranking features based on data, market insights, and technical feasibility
    • Utilize data-driven insights for product performance enhancement, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and aligning operational/business strategy
    • Proactively identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans, fostering a culture of innovation within the team
  • Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in technical product management, preferably within the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or broader healthcare industry
  • Proven experience working extensively with operational teams, demonstrating a deep understanding of business process management analysis and engineering
  • Familiarity with and practical experience in rule management and workflow automation implementation in enterprise environments
  • Solid comprehension of Enterprise Application workflow, Platforms, User Experience (UX), and API Orchestration systems
  • Proven excellent relationship management, communication, and active listening skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships with business and technology partners
  • Demonstrated solid product management and agile delivery methodology skills, including managing product backlogs, crafting features and user stories, and overseeing product releases

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with or knowledge of Camuda or equivalent workflow and rule management vendor products
  • Experience working in environments that integrate vendor tools into complex business workflows
  • Experience in greenfield Product Development, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and Product Launch
  • Knowledge of workflow, process enhancement, benchmarking, and assessment of enterprise processes

Skills Required

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in technical product management, preferably in PBM or healthcare
  • Extensive experience working with operational teams and business process management analysis and engineering
