Your Role

• Provides technical leadership to project team members. Understanding of the software development life cycle and process improvement.
• Follows disciplined software development practices. Up-to-date on current and best practices and technologies related to software development and project management. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive technical experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Responsible for a variety of technical and project management tasks. Provide consultation on complex technical projects. Considers business side of technical decisions.

Your Impact

  FlexPLM team need a Senior Technical Lead who will work on designing new UIs for FlexPLM and at the same time solve complex customer problems efficiently

Your Team

FlexPLM team is a young and dynamic team of software engineers with average exp. Of around 7-9 years and the candidate will be a great fit to this team and overall PTC

Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare functional specifications to include detailed description of specific features and/or functionalities for a component within a product for a specific release. A User Interface section, outlining specific UI's and user roles
• References use cases and documents task flows for this particular feature
• Schedule, conduct and participate in design reviews
• Prepare design note(s) per group standards based on an approved set of requirements. A design note shall include at minimum: Requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios, migration issues
• Provide ongoing feedback on deliverables
• Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards
• Create and run unit tests
• Test on multiple configurations
• Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
• Provide timely and complete information and document reviews to the publications group
• Provide timely and complete information to the QA group to facilitate formal testing.
• Share technical information with the team and to a wider audience when appropriate
• Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
