- Manage access and user access to the database, along with housekeeping (cleanup) when required.
- Be involved in Oracle Integration Cloud maintenance and debugging.
- Assist team lead on the following activities
- ITDR activities
- Routinely monitor Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) assets, health checks, and consumptions
- Routinely monitor and Debug Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) issues
- Exploring automation opportunities with Jenkins, Ansible or other tools.
- Assist the Azure Database Administrator for Database in Azure
- MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as Database Administrator, and database management systems.
- Knowledge of PS/SQL programming and stored procedures is an added advantage.
- MUST HAVE with Oracle specific Backup and Recovery: DataGuard (dgmgrl), Data Pump (expdp), Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), especially for DB hosted on Oracle Cloud.
- MUST HAVE familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance tuning methodologies.
- MUST HAVE familiarity with Oracle Database Networking concept, tns, tnsnames.ora, tnsping etc ~ Oracle Net Services.
- MUST HAVE: Linux knowledge – running commands, understanding Linux basics commands and file structure. Knowledge of using Oracle Database on Windows is also a requirement.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as Database Administrator
- Knowledge of PS/SQL programming and stored procedures
- Must have Oracle specific Backup and Recovery knowledge
- Must have familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance tuning methodologies
- Must have familiarity with Oracle Database Networking concept
- Must have Linux knowledge
- Knowledge of using Oracle Database on Windows
