As a Senior Consultant in Renewables Advisory, you will lead the delivery of complex technical advisory assignments, with a primary focus on wind energy, especially offshore wind and electrical engineering. Serving as the principal delivery contact for customers, you will manage expectations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality projects in Korea and across the wider APAC region. You will also contribute to solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects and help strengthen our delivery capability through the independent development of internal tools and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical advisory and due diligence assignments for onshore and offshore wind projects, with particular emphasis on electrical engineering, grid connection, power systems, and offshore electrical infrastructure.
• Act as the primary delivery contact for customers, establishing clear scope, schedule, quality, and communication expectations and managing them proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary specialists and broader regional and global teams to deliver projects efficiently in Korea and across APAC.
• Lead or support proposals, defining the scope of work, delivery approach, team, programme, budget, assumptions, and commercial terms.
• Review energy yield assessments and evaluate technical and commercial risks, including assumptions, uncertainty, losses, and suitability for investment or financing decisions.
• Review EPC, turbine supply agreement (TSA), and operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts, identifying interface, performance, schedule, warranty, and allocation-of-risk issues.
• Assess project capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX), benchmark costs, and identify opportunities to improve value, efficiency, and risk allocation.
• Support technical advisory and due diligence work for solar PV and BESS projects, collaborating with relevant subject-matter experts as required.
• Monitor delivery performance, budget, programme, quality, and project risks; provide clear status reporting and lead customer and internal project meetings.
• Prepare, review, and finalize independent engineer (IE), technical advisor (TA), and due diligence reports to a consistently high standard.
• Independently develop and maintain internal tools, templates, and workflows that improve project delivery, quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to methods, procedures, lessons learned, and communities of practice, and support the development of junior colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• At least +7 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, including substantial wind-sector experience; direct offshore wind experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wind-farm electrical systems, such as array and export cables, offshore substations, onshore substations, grid connection, power-system studies, and electrical interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience in technical due diligence and energy yield assessment for wind projects, with the ability to interpret technical findings and communicate their commercial implications.
• Working knowledge of EPC, TSA, and O&M contracts, together with experience reviewing CAPEX and OPEX assumptions.
• Proven ability to lead several workstreams, manage customer expectations, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience delivering projects in Korea or elsewhere in APAC and the ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and regulatory environments.
• Interest in contributing to solar PV and BESS assignments; direct experience in either technology would be an advantage.
• Ability to independently design practical tools, templates, or automated workflows that improve project delivery.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Korean-language capability would be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
