We are seeking a highly experienced and client-focused Senior Technical Consultant (Power BI) to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of technical solutions for our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver high-impact results. The role requires a deep and holistic understanding of software, relational databases, integration, data and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client requirements, challenges, and goals.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on system architecture, integration, and deployment strategies.
  • Provide clients with best practices relating to use of MRI reporting capabilities and related integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, engineering, and support.
  • Manage technical aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform solution design.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution demos, and technical proposals.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support continuous improvement of consulting practices.
  • Recommend business process improvements to help drive more value for our clients. 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years experience in technical consulting services, product implementation or systems design & development
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI

  • Experience with integration mapping, data aggregation and analysis.

  • The ability to facilitate workshops, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in client facing roles implementing software solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL Server or other RDBMS preferred
  • Experience using BI toolsets and strong data acumen
  • Ability to travel (10- 20%)
