What will you do at SuperPlay?

As a Technical Artist, you will drive the implementation and quality of real-time visuals in Unity, bridging art, engineering, and product to deliver polished, performant, and scalable game features.

You will work closely with artists, developers, designers, and product teams to create high-quality visual experiences, build efficient workflows, and ensure that visuals are both technically sound and aligned with gameplay and business goals.

  • Bringing game features to life by implementing and polishing visuals in Unity
  • Creating engaging effects, animations, and visual sequences that enhance gameplay and game feel
  • Working closely with artists, developers, designers, and product teams throughout the integration process
  • Integrating and validating art assets, ensuring high visual quality while meeting technical constraints (asset size, geometry, loading performance)
  • Monitoring performance impact of visual features on mobile devices
  • Building and improving tools and workflows to support efficient content creation
  • Troubleshooting and resolving visual and in-game issues
Who are you?
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist, with proven Unity production experience on live games (shipping features and content)
  • A strong portfolio/demo reel showcasing high-quality real-time VFX, shaders, animations, and dynamic, gameplay-driven visual behaviors and interactions
  • High attention to detail in visual quality, motion, color, and composition
  • Strong C# proficiency with the ability to write clean, maintainable,production-ready view code and understanding of separation between logic and presentation layers (for example MVP pattern)
  • Strong real-time rendering knowledge: shaders, post-processing, and mobile performance optimization using Unity profiling tools
  • Experience with Unity Timeline, Animator, Particle Systems, and dynamic, data-driven visual behaviors
  • Experience developing tools and editor scripts
  • Experience working effectively with AI-assisted tools to support development workflows.
  • Experience with shader development (HLSL / CGPROGRAM)
  • Experience in using the following software: 3D tools (Maya / Blender), Photoshop, Git Client / Console

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist
  • Proven Unity production experience on live games
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality VFX and animations
  • Strong C# proficiency
  • Real-time rendering knowledge including shaders and mobile optimization
  • Experience with Unity Timeline and Particle Systems
  • Experience developing tools and editor scripts
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools
  • Experience with shader development
  • Experience with 3D tools and Git
