Senior Tax Manager

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our Accounting Department.

You’ll be responsible for leading the tax function across both our platform and vertical business units. You’ll need to bring strong tax expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure full compliance, drive process improvements, and support new business initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, manage a team, and handle both operational and strategic tax responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the tax function across all entities of efood

• Manage and support a high-performing tax team

• Ensure tax compliance with all relevant regulations (Income Tax, Withholding Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, etc.) on both a monthly and annual basis

• Handle and monitor all day-to-day tax tasks, filings, and obligations

• Assess and manage tax risks, offering solutions and mitigating exposure

• Support and advise on new business initiatives from a tax perspective

• Maintain and update the Transfer Pricing model and annual TP file

• Redesign and optimize tax processes to ensure efficiency and control

• Collaborate with internal teams (Accounting, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, Facilities, etc.)

• Work closely with the Central Tax Team and external advisors on key tax issues

• Stay up to date on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates across the organization

• Prepare and review documentation for tax payments and returns

• Support and coordinate tax and statutory audits

• Share tax data and insights with the wider Finance and Accounting teams
   

• BSc degree in Accounting / Economics or another related field

• At least 5 years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably with exposure to advisory or compliance services (Big4 background will be considered a plus)

• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) completed or in progress will be considered an asset

• Strong knowledge of Greek tax legislation and MyData platform

• Excellent command of MS Excel and general computer literacy

• Strong communication skills in English and Greek, both written and verbal

• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders

• Solid organizational and leadership skills
