Job Description:
Indorama Ventures - Indovinya is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Senior Tax Analyst in The Woodlands, TX. In this role, you will support our Tax Consolidation Manager in establishing an efficient tax function.
What will be expected from you?
- Direct Tax - Must.
- Federal and Texas State Tax.
- Tax Nexus management.
- Withholding Tax Compliance (1042 filing etc.)
- Sales and Use Tax - compliance and experience - Must.
- Property Tax assessments - advantage - Liaison with consultant and learn gradually.
- Experience with Tax Planning - transfer pricing and R&D incentives
- Canada VAT filings (Outsourced) – Liaison will be needed.
- Liaison with Bangkok GHQ and Charlotte Regional tax office is implied as the case may be. Cross culture / Cross time zone experience preferred.
- Indovinya business to process Tax related business processes efficiently.
- High quality analytics of tax positions for global tax footprints.
- High quality information system supported by SAP, OTP, Consolidation modules.
- Support structure for 100% compliance with laws of land.
- Work on OTP, Consolidation module to make data flow automatic and accurate.
- Target 100% accurate tax accounting.
- Tax optimization.
- Optimize without compromising compliance requirements.
- Foster mutual trust and confidence with indirect subordinates, consultants.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
- CPA
- Master's in taxation
- 5 to 6 years of experience
