As a Senior TA Business Partner at Vantive you are responsible for delivery of excellence throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle in individual assignments and larger scale recruitment projects. You will take a leading role in helping drive quality outcomes through partnering closely with your hiring managers, other members of Talent Acquisition and your HR Business Partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of hiring projects.

This role goes beyond execution and requires strong market expertise, stakeholder influence, and the ability to navigate a highly candidate-driven environment. You will partner closely with senior business leaders and HR to shape hiring strategies, work force planning, provide market intelligence, and drive high-quality hiring outcomes.

In addition to leading Talent Acquisition for Japan, this role is designed with regional flexibility, and provide support to other markets based on business priorities. This requires a high level of adaptability, cross-cultural awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments.

You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement, strengthening employer branding, and elevating Talent Acquisition capabilities across Global Vantive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in Japan and other markets if required, providing strategic guidance on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and market positioning
  • Partner with business leaders and HR to translate business strategy into effective hiring plans
  • Provide data-driven insights and external market intelligence to influence hiring decisions

End-to-End Talent Acquisition Delivery

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Japan and other markets, ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes across both volume and niche roles
  • Drive direct sourcing strategies, including proactive talent mapping, headhunting, and pipeline development
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience aligned with Vantive’s employer brand

Hiring Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement in quality of hiring outcomes by elevating hiring manager capability across the recruitment lifecycle                                                
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper, constructively challenging hiring decisions to ensure alignment with role requirements and organizational standards
  • Leverage hiring data and insights (e.g., offer acceptance rates, interview-to-offer ratios, new hire success indicators) to continuously refine hiring strategies and processes

Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Effectively challenge and influence hiring managers to drive quality hiring decisions
  • Proactively identify gaps in hiring effectiveness (e.g., poor interview quality, inconsistent decisions) and implement targeted interventions
  • Manage complex stakeholder environments, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Regional (APAC) Involvement 

  • Provide Talent Acquisition support to other APAC markets as required, based on business demand
  • Demonstrate ability to rebalance priorities across markets and manage competing demands
  • Leverage employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent in Japan and provide support to APAC
  • Operate effectively across different cultural, regulatory, and business environments
  • Represent Vantive in industry events, networking, and talent communities

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely management of requisitions in Workday and related systems
  • Maintain strong governance across the recruitment lifecycle, including compliance and risk management
  • Proactively identify and escalate any process or compliance risks
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in delivering end-to-end Talent Acquisition in a complex, candidate-driven market (Japan), including both volume and niche hiring
  • Fluent in Japanese (business level or above) to effectively engage with local stakeholders and candidates
    Proficient in English to operate within a regional and global business environment
  • Demonstrated capability to operate at a strategic level, translating business needs into hiring strategies and workforce plans
  • Experience managing multi-market or regional hiring scope, with the ability to reprioritize across geographies based on business demand
  • Strong expertise in direct sourcing, talent mapping, and pipeline development for critical roles
  • Hands-on experience using ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday) with high data accuracy and process compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions and stakeholders without compromising quality or timelines
  • Ability to travel within Japan and across the region as required

Skills Required
