We are looking for a senior systems software engineer to advance the Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure that powers many accelerated open-source software. We are passionate about the opportunity to shape the future of secure and scalable CI/CD infrastructure for many open-source AI and accelerated computing software on the NVIDIA platform!
What you will be doing:
Design, build, extend, test, deploy, and maintain a centralized CI/CD infrastructure for many open-source projects.
Collaborate effectively with peers and partners through brainstorming and review sessions to produce high-quality design, code, and documentation.
Follow guidelines of CI/CD for reliability, performance, monitoring, security, compliance, interoperability, usability, correctness, consistency, simplicity, etc.
Support other NVIDIA teams in using this foundational infrastructure.
Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of experience with software engineering in several programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go), and with data structures/algorithms.
Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions and GitLab Runners.
Experience with open source software development (workflows, tools, guidelines).
Practical knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Familiarity with security patterns, e.g., authentication protocols (e.g. OAuth 2.0, OIDC), authorization frameworks, and secret management (HashiCorp Vault).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, virtualization technologies (containers and virtual machines).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience developing and operating centralized and large-scale automated build, test, and deployment platforms.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
