The Senior Windows Engineering Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Windows-based systems and hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-premises, Azure, and AWS environments. The role combines deep technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms with strong automation experience using Ansible and PowerShell. The successful candidate will ensure reliability, scalability, and security across all core infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
Manage and optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy for on-prem and hybrid identity environments.
Deploy and manage workloads in Azure and AWS.
Automate provisioning, configuration management, and patching using Ansible and PowerShell.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as Splunk.
Collaborate with Engineering Teams to ensure compliance and system hardening.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Tier 3 issues related to Windows or cloud systems.
Document architecture, configurations, and operational runbooks for internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3–5+ years of experience managing Windows Server environments in enterprise settings.
Strong proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Practical experience with Azure and AWS services and hybrid integrations.
Scripting and automation expertise with PowerShell and Ansible.
Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices. Familiarity with ITIL-based change and incident management processes.
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management platforms (SCCM & Intune)
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (CIS & NIST)
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), AWS SysOps Administrator, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Specialist.
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and departments.
Proactive and detail-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Pay Range:
$103,030.00 - $175,160.00
This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth
