JOB OBJECTIVE

Lead the system engineering activities required to develop a solution;

• Analyses the customer’s and other stakeholders’ needs whatever the used means (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, …)
• Describes the missions, functions and requirements on the solution or the product
• Formalizes the specification and the architectural design to develop the solution or product
• Prepares and performs the solution or product integration, verification and validation tests
• Contributes to technical specification definition and to the subcontractor choice for needed subsystem acquisition, taking into account possible export control restrictions
• Provide project engineers with an efficient Engineering Environment
• Direct interface on technical level with Customer, Engineer, Solution Providers, Technical Experts/Specialists OR Technical Managers inside and outside THALES Entities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

System Design & Architecture

• Lead the design and architecture of integrated security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, Video Analytics, and Command & Control Centers.
• Develop end-to-end security solutions that align with operational requirements and risk assessments.
• Ensure scalability, redundancy, and high availability in system designs.
• Define security architecture to ensure compliance with industry standards (HCIS 2017, GDPR, SAMA Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Perform the design choice using criteria and develop the system logical architecture.
• Create the system physical architecture by developing and analyzing alternatives taking into consideration constraints (i.e. legacy, product line strategy, deployment strategy, etc.).
• Define internal interfaces accordingly with product breakdown and Integration / Verification strategy.
• Refine and allocate the solution’s or solution element’s requirements to the lower level elements.
• To construct the optimal design, which can be developed and delivered to satisfy the customer’s and other stakeholders’ needs.
• To refine the lower level of requirements down to a complete definition (Solution elements, HW and/or SW components) and to consolidate definition up to the solution level with agreement of all concerned levels.
• Define internal interfaces accordingly with product breakdown and Integration / Verification strategy.

• Refine and allocate the solution’s or solution element’s requirements to the lower level elements.
