We are looking for an exceptional Senior Virtualization & Storage Engineer with extensive experience in managing Virtualization Technologies such as Nutanix, Storage & Cloud based systems and infrastructure. You will play a supporting role in driving our systems infrastructure strategy that is highly automated and tuned to meet our business needs.

Your role in the team

You will play pivotal role in the team to Upgrade, Maintain & Re-design existing Nutanix Infrastructure. You should possess Nutanix SME Skills with Engineering mindset to support Critical organization Infrastructure.

What you’ll do

Sound experience of 10+ years in Virtualization technologies.

Excellent knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV and/or Hyper-V / VMware ESXi or other converged or hyperconverged platforms.

Able to independently analyze and diagnose highly complex problems across different platforms.

Customer-centric approach.

Excellent communication skills.

Nutanix NCP-certified Migration of workload, both P2V and V2V.

VMware certification such as VCP or VCAP.

Understanding of storage technologies and data protection technologies like replication, snapshots, backup, restore, etc.

Exposure to Automation and scripting is preferred.

Python/PowerShell scripting to automate tasks (Desirable)

• Experience in IAC tooling including Git, Terraform, Docker, and Vault.

• In-depth understanding of security practices, system hardening, and encryption technologies.

• Must understand a physical DC and how physical HW is racked / configured. Confident working with remote DC team.
