About this opportunity:
Radio Access Network (RAN) automation rApps are reshaping network management and optimization. These cloud-native apps enable automatic evolution, deployment, optimization, and self-healing of networks, boosting efficiency, performance, and reliability.
We seek a Senior Software Developer passionate about building ML-driven, cloud-native solutions. You will help design, develop, operate, and maintain scalable Python-based microservices for the next generation of RAN automation. You'll work closely with data scientists, RAN experts, software architects, and QA engineers in a collaborative, agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain Python-based microservices in cloud-native ecosystems (Kubernetes, Docker, S3)
- Lead backend development from concept to release, following Agile, DevOps, and TDD principles
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and domain experts to create system-level designs
- Develop and integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, or similar) for build, testing, and deployment automation
- Ensure documentation quality and compliance with security best practices
- Troubleshoot, deliver efficient solutions, and support customer success
- Promote continuous improvement in products, processes, and DevOps pipelines
- Participate in agile ceremonies, discussions, and global knowledge exchanges
Core qualifications
- 6+ years in backend development or DevOps (senior profiles welcome)
- Expert Python skills and microservices experience
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar) and test automation
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, REST APIs, and S3
- Strong DevOps knowledge and collaborative communication skills
- Agile methodology familiarity
Nice-to-haves
- Telecom or RAN domain expertise or network automation experience
- Go programming skills
- AI/ML workflow familiarity
