Senior Supply & Demand Manager (f/m/d)

We are now looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Supply & Demand Manager (f/m/d) to join our Rest of World (ROW) Supply Chain team.

This is a temporary role for a period of 9 months, and potentially extendable depending on business needs.

Your role at Bavarian Nordic

As Senior Supply & Demand Manager (f/m/d), you will ensure reliable vaccine supply across ROW markets by driving an integrated end-to-end demand and supply planning process.

You will own the regional S&OP process and act as a key link between Commercial, Finance, and Global Supply teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and strong decision-making across the value chain.

You will play a critical role in balancing demand and supply, enabling business performance, and ensuring timely access to vaccines for patients worldwide.

You will report to the Senior Director, Head of Supply Chain DACH & ROW. This is a hybrid role based in Denmark or Germany, with occasional travel.

Your key responsibilities

• Own and drive the regional S&OP and Demand Review processes, ensuring alignment with Global S&OP and delivering a robust, unbiased demand plan

• Ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels across ROW markets, balancing service, cost, and risk

• Translate demand insights into actionable supply plans in close collaboration with Global Supply Planning, driving informed prioritization

• Proactively manage supply risks and resolve issues, minimizing market impact and ensuring high customer satisfaction

• Drive performance across key KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory), implementing corrective actions with Commercial and Finance

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic supply chain projects across regional and global operations

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we imagine you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning within a complex, regulated industry

• Proven experience with S&OP and demand planning processes in a global setup

• Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate data into actions

• Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and regions

• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly present complex topics
