The Supply Chain Coordinator is a highly versatile position that bridges the gap between Supply Chain Management and Inventory Control.  This role serves as the primary operational link between Materials Planning and Warehouse Operations, ensuring material flow, inventory accuracy and execution alignment.   This position is part of the Operations/Plant Management Organization and will be located onsite in Carlsbad, CA as part of the Supply Chain Department.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Supply Chain/Logistics Team located in Carlsbad, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Liaise with vendors and external carriers for scheduled deliveries and tracking inbound shipments

  • Collaborating with Buyer/Planners to analyze production schedules, identify material needs, and coordinate prioritization and transfer of raw materials between the warehouse and production.

  • Monitor shortages, past due signals, and priority changes impacting production

  • Act as first point of escalation between Planning, Warehouse, and Production for material flow issues

  • Execute inbound material activities including receiving, inspection, labeling, put‑away, purchase order verification, and inventory reconciliation to ensure ERP/MRP accuracy and material availability.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by performing daily cycle counts, scrap transactions with ERP/MRP to identify discrepancies. Collaborating with production on replenishing materials via the Kanban Pull System to ensure manufacturing has the necessary materials at Point of Use.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • High School Diploma or GED Required. Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.

  • 1–3 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, logistics and materials management

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, WMS, ERP (eg., SAP, Oracle), and handheld RF scanning technology.

It would be a plus if you also possess experience in the following: 

  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities to resolve operational bottlenecks and team conflicts.

  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and Quality System Regulations (QSR’s). 

  • Current certifications for Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts or electric pallet jacks.

Physical/Environment Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift in varying temperatures.

  • Capability to lift and move objects typically ranging from 40 to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

The annual salary range for this role is $31.00-$36.00 per hour.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
