Job Description
As a Senior / Supplier Quality Engineer, you will manage supplier quality by qualifying suppliers, monitoring performance, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions to ensure quality and compliance.
You will also senior Quality Engineering leadership for product quality, supplier quality, and continuous improvement plans. Responsible for advanced quality planning, supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and compliance with quality systems and
product requirements to improve customer satisfaction.
You will report to SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGER based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead quality planning and problem-solving activities using PFMEA, PPAP, MSA (R&R), and process capability tools.
Qualify, assess, and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with Rockwell Automation quality standards.
Monitor supplier quality performance and lead corrective and continuous improvement actions.
Support NPI, product transfers, manufacturing strategies, and supplier approvals.
Analyze quality data, field returns, and audit results to identify improvement opportunities.
Manage deviations, waivers, CAPAs, ECNs, and PCNs to support our goals.
Provide quality training, technical guidance to our teams and suppliers.
Lead quality programs, Lean projects, and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and regulatory requirements.
Support project execution, milestone tracking, and coordination.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with knowledge of electronic assemblies, PCB, and semiconductor commodities.
Experience with APQP, PPAP, supplier audits, 8D problem-solving, and MSA methodologies.
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
Technical knowledge of mechanical components, electronic components, and commodity management.
