Job Description
Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. Qualify suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection. Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier related problems. Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited to ensure good manufacturing practices and quality standards are met. Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance.
As Senior Supplier Quality Engineer You will report to: Manager Supplier Quality EMEA
Your Responsibilities:- Quotation and leading quality audits for internal and external suppliers' base.
- Keep track on quality results for indicated external suppliers and products. Initiating corrective actions and defining plans for continuous improvement depending on current needs.
- Creation and realization of strategies for product groups/ suppliers at global and local market.
- Definition and implementation of preventive programs for suppliers, product groups.
- Identify and support continuous improvement processes and effectiveness of our goals realization.
- Participation in quality improvement systems according to ISO 9001:2015; ISO 45001 (will replace OHSAS 18001:2007 and PN-N 18001:2004) and Environment Standards 14000:2015.
- Feedback's analysis to trends' and areas for quality improvements identification.
- Management of Stop Production/Hold Shipment processes to completion and coherence of orders. Delivering training linked to supplier quality and employees.
- Perform part approval processes according to Rockwell Automation procedures.
- Deliver expertise knowledge to business within quality, best practices, according to procedures and requirements, Lean projects and our goals.
- Cooperation with other Engineering teams and clients and suppliers within quality matters.
- Lead New Product Implementation or Product Transfer Projects
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- BS Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of working experience in the Quality or the Manufacturing areas of electronic or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning control concepts and their application.
- Knowledge of quality tools: 8D Report, 5Why, PPAP
- Technical knowledge of electronic or electromechanical manufacturing processes.
- Understand the concepts of reliability/durability.
- Work with some management.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems.
- Good English skills in wording and writing
- Good German skills will be an advantage
