Overview
As a Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for handling the company's end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to company's strategic sourcing planning and appraise & improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company's needs, spendings, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.
Responsibilities

  • Develop sourcing & e-procurement policy for Mechatronics Division. Evaluate purchasing decisions on supply, outsourcing, and procurement while ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead supply chain risk assessment and analysis for in-house manufacturing. Contribute to manufacturing planning, while continuously streamlining manufacturing complexity.
  • Lead initial market research and vendor profiles to aid supplier selection based on cost, market trends, and vulnerability assesment.
  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality. Manage proposal evaluation, RFP process and final vendor selection to meet budget objectives.
  • Establish a vendor scorecard to benchmark performance, conduct regular supplier risk assessments, and continuously improve process.
  • Manage Supplier selection via collaboration with Procurement, Engineering, and Product Development. Develop best practices for negotiation, contracting, on-boarding, and renewal.
  • Refine policies, estimate risk and apply risk minimizing techniques, ensure contracts comply with industry regulations, and continuously improve RFP templates
  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, or in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in micromobility industry.
  • Thorough working knowledge in trade compliance, contract negotiation,project management, and strategic logistics planning required.
  • Understanding of mechatronics and mechanical engineering is a plus.
  • Superb leadership and communication skills.
  • Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
