Overview of Role:
In this role you demonstrate programming expertise for the creation and execution of SAS and SQL programs for standard and custom impact reports based on requirements gathered from clients and internal teams. Additionally analytical skills are needed to support client data investigations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently consults with internal teams and directly with external customers to gather business needs and data investigation details
- Independently creates specifications for reports and analyses based upon gathered business needs
- Generates and executes complex SAS and SQL programs to investigate trends and data characteristics for client data investigations and impact reports
- Independently summarizes and presents analytics results and impact reports to internal management teams and to external customers
- Develops new standard and custom programs for impact reports of all levels of difficulty
- Perform audits of own work or that of others to ensure accuracy, conformance with established procedures or to resolve routine issues
- Represents team at internal, cross-functional project meetings, as required
- Trains new programmers on existing impact reports
- Leads continuous improvement projects to further operation excellence within the team
- Provides additional insight and interpretation of the data to enable appropriate resolution of business questions and/or issues, identify customized solutions
- Remains aware of new technologies and determines application to impact reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Job Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field(s); Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with statistical programming and data analysis
- Knowledge and experience with SQL, SAS or R programming is required with SAS preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access)
- Experience supporting clients, including strong communication skills
- Knowledge of the industry and an understanding of the marketplace
- Amenable to work on Hybrid set up in Mckinley, Taguig
- Amenable to work on night shift schedule
