This position is accountable for aligning and controlling the evaluation, development and execution of SEA BU Business Development projects and the Gum, Candy and Beverage (GCB) categories' annual and strategic goals. This function will be the primary interface between the related GCB Business Unit markets and Plant Operations, Logistics, RDQ, for all matters pertaining to Innovation/NPD commercialization, technology improvements, capacity enhancement, productivity opportunities and compliance projects that are aligned with the overall business strategies. Acts as an enabler for I2M/IIM (Innovation 2 Market; Innovations and Initiative Management) progress across the sites; Benchmark and leverage Best Sustainability Practices application and Best Cost Sourcing suppliers and knowledge of world class facilities and equipment, to deliver effective solutions meeting all Mondelez standards and expectations. Continuously benchmark plant capabilities and leverage key site competitive advantage on product cost, service and quality.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Role will drive Ongoing business and Simplification: Integrate overall site change management agenda to ensure delivery of projects while maintaining service levels. Special projects related to managing ongoing reprioritization, de-complexity agenda and support the delivery of the site productivity and improvement agenda. Ensure execution of regional /global menu cards and ensure that manufacturing hurdle rates are met. Support Product supply for assessment of manufacturing solutions for current supply and demand gaps within the SEA sites.
- Challenge existing systems and processes to drive cost effectiveness though a process of supply chain simplification, de-complexity and harmonization.
- Responsible for pulling together manufacturing road maps for each plant associated with developing optimal asset base, lowest landed cost sourcing options, and infrastructure to provide the foundation for growth and deliver superior performance in areas of cost, quality, safety and people and delivery. Execution and continues review of SEA BU MSC strategy to develop/maintain an optimum strategic roadmap in conjunction with the SEA BD Director.
- Lead, coach and build Capability of the Business development change coordinator(s) within the plant and other Key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and direction to site BD teams to improve the effectiveness of change processes, including linkages to the PAM, Quality and RDQ through fostering effective manufacturing and RDQ cooperation.
- Optimizes plant scale and cost advantage of the SEA BU Plants by supporting growth of existing markets and by looking for other export customers within Mondelez.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least ~7years of relevant experience in end-to-end Manufacturing and Plant Management role within a complex FMCG environment
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills to drive process improvements and work effectively with colleagues at multiple levels of the organization
- Good change management skills to identify and streamline existing operational processes in line with internal and external manufacturing roadmaps
- Highly action oriented, drive for results, innovative, and strong entrepreneurial ability
- Demonstrated abilities in analytics, program management, problem solving and team building
- Fundamental knowledge of Marketing & Consumer affairs
- Knowledgeable of Best Practices in the industry.
- Plant operations functions, project management, Inter-company business.
- Strong Change Management & business development experience
- Demonstrated capability to discuss, coordinate and negotiate with key project partners and cross functional team members (customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, others)
- Exposure to Bench Marking exercises.
