Test Strategy & Development
- Develop cost-effective and high-efficiency test solutions for GaN and Silicon device families.
- Create, debug, and release test programs on discrete testers and mixed signal ATE platforms. Lead the transition of legacy platforms to new technology nodes.
Hardware Design & Requirements
- Lead the design reviews and acceptance of high-performance test interface hardware provided by external vendors.
- Design test hardware including load boards, probe heads, and sockets.
- Define test hardware requirements based on device specifications and characterization data
Execution & Sustaining
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through validation, release, and yield ramp activities.
- Provide sustaining support for production products and test platforms.
- Lead platform conversions and drive efficiency improvements across multiple ATE systems.
Technical Expertise
- Apply knowledge of wide bandgap semiconductors, power devices, and analog measurement techniques.
- Perform high-voltage and high-current testing safely and efficiently.
- Use lab tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, and ATE debugging utilities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with design, product, reliability, test, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Experience
- 5–12+ years in semiconductor test engineering (depending on degree: BS or MS).
- Hands-on experience with wafer sort and final test.
- Programming background in C++, VBA, or similar languages
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with ATE instrumentation and platforms (discrete test systems and mixed-signal testers, e.g., Acco STS8300).
- Solid understanding of wide bandgap semiconductors (e.g., GaN).
- Experience with power and analog test methodologies.
