More about our mission and what we offer.
Job DescriptionThe team you’ll be working with: Mitigation Platform Squad
At Wise, we’re on a mission to make financial services faster, simpler, and more accessible for everyone. To achieve our mission, we also need to safeguard our platform against financial crime and ensure our customers’ money is safe. The Mitigation Platform Squad plays a critical role in this by providing a highly scalable platform to orchestrate which information we need to request from our customers, and then have automations and Servicing Agents to review it. We enable Wise to remain compliant at scale.
We are developing the infrastructure that provides teams at Wise with insights into the operational cost and risk associated with their ownership of the Wise product. This empowers them to enhance the product, reducing Wise's cost for customers and enabling a smoother experience when additional information is required from them. The infrastructure also enables automation of Servicing processes through a rich API in a distributed environment, and it is the core connection between customers and our Servicing agents.
What does our squad look like?
We’re a full stack Squad, with Designers, Product Managers, Analysts, Backenders and Frontenders, with three teams, each owning part of our domain: Ingress to Mitigation domain, Collection, Case Assignment, Case Handling To deliver impact faster, we engage with other teams at Wise, so we deliver a platform with the right complexity and adaptability that gets more impactful for Wise on every release. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do — we value ownership, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to building stable, scalable systems while embracing fast-paced learning and iteration.

You'll also play a key role in cross-team collaboration, essential for building and growing our platform for other Wise teams and iterating over the platform's vision. This includes documenting at the appropriate abstraction level to scale the adoption of our developments. We're looking for a proactive individual with a strong foundation in backend technologies, a passion for writing clean and efficient code, and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
