In this role, you will:
- Architect & own mission-critical systems – Lead the design and development of full-stack platforms that power real-time vehicle monitoring, operational tooling, and live rider support across our autonomous fleet.
- Set technical direction across the stack – Act as a technical leader spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure, driving architecture decisions that ensure scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead through influence and mentorship – Elevate the team by guiding design discussions, providing high-quality code reviews, and mentoring engineers to raise the overall technical bar.
- Drive cross-functional innovation – Partner closely with product, design, and operations to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver solutions to complex, real-world challenges in autonomous mobility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), with 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, including experience building applications with Node.js, HTML, and CSS
- Deep understanding of modern web technologies and architecture, including performance, scalability, and maintainability considerations
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Svelte, with an eye toward building intuitive, high-quality user interfaces
- Proven ability to design and architect large-scale, full-stack systems, paired with strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively drive alignment and execution across cross-functional teams
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Python or C++
- Experience with 3D graphics, especially in a web context.
- Familiarity with robotics and 3D spatial reasoning.
