Lead a team of 4–5 Technical Product Managers responsible for autonomous driving behavior clusters. Own portfolio strategy, prioritization, readiness metrics, safety-critical release criteria, resource allocation, and executive communication. Partner with autonomy engineering, safety, metrics, user research, and field operations to incorporate operational feedback and scale Zoox’s commercial robotaxi service into new cities and driving domains.

Own the vision and roadmap for Zoox’s commercial marketplace systems, including pricing, promotions, incentives, and autonomous fleet deployment. Define optimization objectives, models, experiments, guardrails, and launch criteria while partnering with Data Science, Fleet Operations, Finance, Product, and Engineering. Drive cross-functional delivery, manage dependencies, evaluate business impact, operate weekly commercial reviews, and communicate performance and roadmap decisions to leadership.

Develop and optimize large-scale ML training systems for autonomous-driving foundation, VLM, and VLA models. Responsibilities include distributed training, mixed precision, reinforcement learning performance, GPU kernel development, profiling, benchmarking, and debugging across compute, compiler, framework, and networking layers. The role collaborates with researchers, data engineers, and hardware engineers to improve training efficiency, scalability, and cost.

Lead ML training performance for large-scale VLM, VLA, foundation-model, and reinforcement-learning systems. Design distributed parallelism, mixed-precision strategies, gradient checkpointing, GPU kernels, profiling workflows, and performance benchmarks. Own RL optimization strategy and roadmap, diagnose bottlenecks across compute and networking layers, partner with research and engineering teams on architecture, and mentor engineers.
