• Develop strategic methods to improve technical stability and efficiency of products/services
• Lead and influence multiple teams and initiatives

• Deep understanding of the entire system; able to jump into any component and troubleshoot
• Make decisions on product direction based on strong subject matter expertise
• Own large components and set product direction
• Think strategically and tactically aligned with technical and business goals
• Define long-term roadmap across multiple product versions
• Support initiatives beyond primary responsibility
• Provide technical leadership to teams (3–4 individuals)
• Build strong cross-functional relationships
• Drive decisions considering multiple viewpoints
• Mentor engineers with high-level guidance
• Improve overall technical capability of the organization
