Role Overview:

We are looking for a Architect / Individual Contributor with strong expertise in system design, architecture, and large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and building robust, scalable, and cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions that shape the foundation of our products.

About Role

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, distributed, high-availability systems.

• Create both high-level and low-level design documents that align architecture with business goals.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define system requirements, integration points and technical roadmaps.

• Drive technical excellence via mentorship, code reviews and application of architectural best practices.

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration strategies and infrastructure-as-code.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide system optimization and scalability efforts.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption when appropriate.

About You

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience and 5+ years in an architect or senior technical leadership role designing and implementing large-scale distributed or cloud-native systems.

• Proven technical leader with strong expertise in Go, Python, Java , Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker; track record of taking designs from concept through to production.

• Deep understanding of system design principles—scalability, resilience, microservices architectures—with ability to create design artefacts that align teams.

• Strong familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices ensuring systems are automated, observable and maintainable.

• Working knowledge of Make files and Bash for build/automation, Grafana for monitoring, Kafka, AWS deployments and databases like PostgreSQL and Cassandra DB.

• Mentor and coach with ability to help teams adopt best practices, improve code quality and think architecturally about software.

• Collaborative, analytical and execution-focused, able to balance hands-on problem solving with high-level strategic thinking.

• Excellent communicator capable of influencing both technical and business stakeholders; thrives in a fast-paced environment where innovation meets reliability.

• Proactive, humble and passionate about building scalable cybersecurity systems that deliver real-world impact.
