Quality Management
Monitor and maintain quality standards across wafer fabrication processes.
Develop and maintain quality documentation including Control Plans, PFMEA, SOPs, quality procedures, and audit records.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal quality systems. Chair CRB (change request board) to review and make disposition on change request from foundry fabs.
Process Quality & Yield Improvement
Analyse foundry line yield loss, defect density, process capability, and quality metrics.
Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) to reduce defects and improve manufacturing performance.
Monitor SPC charts and process control systems to identify drift to pro-actively prevent excursions and risks.
Problem Solving & Corrective Actions
Lead root cause analysis using (not limited to ) 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and statistical tools.
Investigate quality excursions (NC), wafer defects, customer complaints, and reliability failures.
Implement and verify CAPA effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
Customer Quality Management
Act as the primary interface between customers and manufacturing teams on quality-related issues.
Support customer audits, quality reviews, RMAs, NC, CAPA and corrective action reports.
Prepare customer quality reports and communicate quality performance metrics.
Reliability & Product Qualification
Support process qualification, technology transfer, and new process & product introduction activities.
Review reliability data and ensure products meet qualification requirements.
Participate in wafer fabrication change management and risk assessment activities.
Audits & Compliance
Conduct internal process audits and quality system audits.
Track corrective actions from audit findings through closure.
Maintain audit readiness for customers and certification bodies.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
5 -10 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication, foundry manufacturing, or semiconductor quality engineering.
Knowledge of FEOL and BEOL manufacturing processes.
