Job DescriptionAn SAP MM/WM Senior Consultant is a functional expert responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules within an SAP ecosystem acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to translate business needs (like procurement, inventory, logistics) into SAP functionalities, guiding projects from full lifecycle implementations and migrations, and mentoring teams while ensuring integration with other systems and leading testing and training
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Design: Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design solutions for MM (Procure-to-Pay, Inventory) & WM (Warehouse Layout, Movements, Strategies)
- Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP MM/WM modules, develop functional specifications for ABAP, and implement enhancements (BAPIs, User Exits)
- Project Leadership: Lead implementation, migration (ECC to S/4HANA), and support phases, mentoring junior staff and managing client engagements
- Integration & Development: Work with technical teams on interfaces (EDI/IDOC), system integrations (RF, barcode), and RICEF objects
- Testing & Training: Develop test plans, execute testing (UAT, Integration), and provide end-user training
- Support & Optimization: Troubleshoot issues, provide post-go-live support, and optimize inventory management processes
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10+ years in SAP, with full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA/EWM experience
- Technical: Deep MM (Purchasing, Inventory) & WM (Storage Types, Bins, Movements, Strategies) expertise, ABAP debugging, RICEF, Master Data
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Experience: Mergers and acquisition and large projects is a plus
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP certifications in MM/WM are considered a plus.
- Fluent English
