What you will do-
- Evaluating the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety and create and review material part specifications and bills of material.
- Generation and checking of drawings for manufacturing - Drafting to Stryker and GD&T standards (Good experience required in DFMEA, DFM, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up.)
- Manage multifunctional projects both short term and long term and Knowledge of manufacturing process, engineering change process, Design Verification and Validation, Design and Risk Management documents.
- Should Understand cross-functional roles & responsibilities as outlined by the Quality System and achieves communal goals of R&D projects
- Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability.
- Ability to set up new test methods, verification and validation activities knowledge
- Should have expertise of defining verification and validation methods.
- Proven Expertise in Material Selection Knowledge (materials specific to medical devices).
- Awareness about ISO13485 and International standards, and norms
What you will need-
Required skills-
- Educational Qualification of BE/B.Tech/ME/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with strong work experience of 9-12 years out of which Minimum 7 years in similar role of product development
- Good Product Design & Development Experience particularly for medical devices and concept designing and development and proofing by hand calculation, FEA reports / Problem Solving Skills.
- Experience of designing electromechanical devices from scratch and good 3D CAD modeling skills (Creo).
- Prototype Development and Testing - Should have clarity of prototype development methods
