You'll support core accounting functions including general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory while helping to streamline financial operations and drive accurate reporting. What You’ll Do
- · Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- · Lead or support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- · Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- · Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the SMI business
- · Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- · Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- · Partner with FP&A, operations, and business leaders to provide financial insight and decision support
- · Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
- · Maintain accurate documentation and support for financial transactions and reporting
- · Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior accounting staff, as needed
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- · 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an operationally complex environment
- · Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
- · Manager/Supervisory experience preferred.
- · Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- · High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- · Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- · Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders

Skills Required

- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
